Too Many Carbs and a Little More Protein

I entered into my first DPS assignment today. The assignment is Bugs or Insects.

This is my first assignment to take part in and I set out for my Monday morning regular activites toting my camera along, hoping to stumble upon a bug or insect to photograph. I am typically not a bug and insect type person and try to stay as far away from all of them as possible. While eating lunch with friends, one of them noticed this little bugger in her pasta salad. Before she removed it, I grabbed my camera and captured him looking as though he had over-indulged on carbs, and as a result adding a little more protein to her pasta salad.

Fix-It Friday

I know... it's not Friday. I am a little late in posting it, but I have already edited it and so I figured I'd go ahead and post it.

This is also my first Fix-it Friday posting. The picture below was not taken by me. It is just one that iheartfaces.com selected to be edited by tons of people so we could see all the different things that could be done. Again, just something fun to do!

Got To Wear Shades

I am entering into my first I Heart Faces photo challenge. The theme for this week is "Got To Wear Shades" and I have chosen a picture of Camden wearing his first pair of shades. I love that you can see his eyes in this pic! The challenge just needed to include shades and a face, so I could have taken a more "professional" looking photo, but I loved this one too much. Camden is sporting a pair of sunglasses straight from the 80's. My friend's son wore these when he was a baby. It's not about winning, its about the fun and sharing my photos!
